The Hunger Games Chapter 14 Comprehension Questions

1. Who helps Katniss escape from the Careers? How? 

 

Peeta helps Katniss escape from the careers. He distracts them so Katniss can run away.

 

2. What does Haymitch send Katniss? 

 

  Haymitch sends Katniss some healing ointment. She put the ointment on the burn on her leg.

 

3. What does Katniss get from Glimmer's body? Why is this so important to her? 

 

  Katniss gets bows and arrows from Glimmer. She wants to take them away quickly before the hovercraft comes to take her body. They're really important to her because she has a weapon that she knows she's really good with.

 

4. What does Peeta do when he finds her? 

 

  When Peeta finds Katniss, he's mad because she is still there. He tells her to run. Katniss can't believe thet Peeta just saved her life.

 

5. What are the effects of the tracker jacker stings on Katniss? 

 

Katniss is hallucinating, she sees things that are obviously not there. She falls and trips everywhere,and she sees ants crawling all over her body.
